At Eco Naviera, we are proud to announce the completion of our brand unification with Agencia Barreda, bringing all operations under our Eco Naviera name. This milestone marks the conclusion of a multi-year integration process following our acquisition of Agencia Barreda in 2021.
Agencia Barreda, founded in 1975, built a long-standing reputation in port operations and maritime services in Los Cabos, working closely with port authorities, marinas, and maritime stakeholders for decades. We founded Eco Naviera in 2008 with a clear mission: to provide transparent, professional, and reliable yacht agency services for yachts and superyachts cruising the Sea of Cortez.
Following the acquisition, we focused on carefully aligning our operations, service standards, and company values, rather than implementing abrupt changes. As of early 2026, all of our services now operate fully under the Eco Naviera brand, offering a unified identity and a single point of contact for captains, crew, and yacht management companies.
Today, we operate with a trilingual team of nearly 20+ professionals, strategically positioned across our four offices in Baja California Sur, Mexico in the cities of La Paz, Loreto, Cabo San Lucas, and San José del Cabo. From these locations, we deliver end-to-end yacht and superyacht support throughout the Sea of Cortez, including port representation, marina coordination, vessel permits and immigration clearance, provisioning, logistics, concierge services, customized itineraries, and active port committee advocacy.
This unification strengthens our operational reach while honoring the legacy and experience that Agencia Barreda brings to yacht services in Baja California Sur. By combining decades of maritime expertise with strong local relationships, we are well positioned to continue supporting the growing number of yachts and superyachts cruising Mexico.
